Depending on the scope of work, your project could last anywhere from 16 weeks to 24 weeks - longer if there is construction and remodeling involved. Some prefer to break their home into phases and move through the home slowly. We will discuss the timeframe upfront with you before the project begins.

Having a budget is very important for the project running smoothly and for your expectations to be met.

Determining your budget is a key component, so be prepared to talk about an overall budget range at the onset of the project. If you need help setting a budget, we are happy to guide you through the process of establishing one. We like to set expectations from the very beginning and therefore we will discuss your vision, your budget, your timeframe, how we work, and our fee structure at the initial meeting.

Nothing moves forward until the budget is agreed on and signed off on

The average full service project takes approximately 20-30 hours per room. The average construction project takes longer, generally 30-40 hours minimum per space.

This is dependent on the size of the space, extent of scope, level of detail, amount of existing furnishings to be reused, etc.

The best way for me to give you an accurate estimate is to schedule an On Site Consultation

I work from a hybrid pricing model. I charge a flat fee for the design. Then once everything has been placed on order I charge hourly for project management thereafter until completion of the project.

While in the flat fee segment of the design process, 50% is due to commence the project with the final 50% being due 5 days prior to the presentation. Once hourly billing begins, you will be invoiced at the beginning of each month for the previous month’s time.

We don’t want your home to look like anyone else’s instagram feed or the showroom of a store. Our approach is that we want to design a grand vision with a high level of detail.

This means that our focus is on the ideal design that will address all your needs first and foremost. As we create the design plan for your grand vision, we are very careful to keep the budget range we agree on in the beginning in mind, but we still design with the creative freedom that is required to produce our best work for you.

Regardless of the allocated financial plan for your project, we will guide you every step of the way to ensure the integrity of our initial design remains intact.

We always strive to make the design process easy and fun for our clients. A major part of what we do for you as your designer is we source all the beautiful and unique materials and furnishings to create that fully finished home, with all the gorgeous layers that will be just your style and personality.

Instead of designing a beautiful space for you and then handing you the plans to go off and do your own purchasing and managing of all the small details, we do that all for you. This is what provides you that designer elevated look you see in all your favorite magazines.

It is the industry standard that client’s purchase through their designer. Our business model is based all purchasing and execution going through our firm. Purchasing from retail can really hurt your design experience and affect the overall quality of design. I kindly request that you avoiding shopping retail stores during our time together. It can save you money and time on the backend. We are here to help so please leave the shopping to us!

At the design presentation meeting, you are presented the full budget breakdown for every piece of furniture we are purchasing for you.

This way you have a very good understanding of what you are paying for every item. Any adjustments that you request are made on detailed invoices and presented to you for approval. Nothing is ordered until you approve, sign off and pay the deposit required upfront. We make the process of ordering through our firm very clear and transparent for you.

Our team will also always address and resolve the issues that may come up with purchasing, logistics, storage of your furnishings to final installation and styling in your home. You don't have to lift a finger when you work with us.
