HYBRID MERCHANDISING

I love a good scavenger hunt to find quality, stylish furnishings at a reasonable price point.

We will work together to determine what design style you are shooting for in your home. Then I will locate beautiful, items within your budget that look like a million bucks! With my Virtual Merchandising Package, I do all the following with a bit of help on your end with

measuring and taking some photos of your space.

I source merchandising 2 ways:

1. Merchandising Coordinator This is my full service merchandising package- where I

source to-the-trade-only items at a discounted rate. What is “to the trade”, anyways? If

you ever wonder where your most admired designers are getting their beautiful

furnishings (that you cant seem to find anywhere!), it’s because there is a whole world of

furnishing that is available only to architects and interior designers.

Sarah Phillips Design Co receives these gorgeous, high quality pieces at a discounted

price. If you decide to move forward with purchasing through my Merchandising

Coordinating Package, I will share my discounted rate with you, meaning you will receive

these pieces at a rate that is lower than retail price. I take care of everything from ordering

to white glove delivery. With this service, I receive commissions, pass discounts to you

and my design fees are discounted to $75/hour (on average takes about 3 hours per

piece).

1. Billing is separated as follows:

1. Consultation Meeting which includes meeting summary and strategic plan of

action for budget and space’s needs

2. Hourly Merchandising Rate for trade-only sourcing and follow up meetings.

3. Product Procurement

2. Merchandising Consultant ($300 per furniture piece for 1st piece, and $200 per each

additional piece) This is where I develop a plan, shop, source, and provide you with a

clickable shopping list of items that are readily available to the public. Then you purchase

yourself and on your timeline.

I do require that clients choose up front which package they would like.

After we discuss your goals and review your design style assessment and questionnaire, I will

create:

-an inspirational concept board that outlines the desired aesthetic of the space

-a floor plan (to scale)

-a layout plan with furnishings, materials and décor selections that meet your specified

needs.

-Detailed notations of how each item should be placed in your designated space
